Minnesota’s first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified restaurant
Red Stag Identity · Features eight endangered, threatened or possibly extinct species of the Minnesota region. Mr. Bessler got to work on this project with his dad, a long-time professor of Biology at Mankato State University Minnesota State University Mankato. His name is also Mr. Bessler.
Secondary mark and monogram · Oh so alternative.
Menu cover · Red fabric with a clear gloss, debossed monogram. Classy.
Menu (inside) · Are you ready to order or do you need a few minutes?
Menu (detail) · You would like to hear the specials, wouldn't you?
Drink coasters · You boozer.
Entryway exhibit · While you wait for your table, learn more about the eight endangered, threatened, or possibly extinct species of the Minnesota region that are featured in the logo. Oh, you don’t like to read, unless it’s on an iPad2? Fine, wait at the bar, then.
Kids menu placemat · Printed on recycled newspaper, this placemat does double-duty as a paper for coloring. It’ll keep the kids busy while you talk about important grown-up stuff, like Call of Duty 3.
Box of matches · You gotta smoke outside. If you see someone light-up indoors, you can file a complaint by calling Minneapolis 311. But nobody likes a snitch. Unless they are smoking a Clove cigarette. Then call away.
Wooden nickels · You usually have to drive to Wall Drug to get something like this.
